Other versions of Windows and other controllers may work but they are yet to be tested.

- Download the mod from the
Releases page

- Download the original game from
https://archive.org/download/msdos_Jonah_Lomu_Rugby_1998/Jonah_Lomu_Rugby_1998.zip

- Extract the mod files (JLR) to a preferred location on your system. Do not to extract the original game files.

- Open the mod folder and launch the JLR Launcher.exe.

- If the zip file is in your Downloads folder, it will be detected automatically.

- If the zip file is not in your Downloads folder, drag and drop the zip file (Jonah_Lomu_Rugby_1998.zip) onto the launcher window.

- Wait for the files to copy, and the game to launch.

Note: This installation process only needs to be completed once.

PS4 Controller:

- Connect your PS4 controller to your PC using a USB cable or through Bluetooth if your computer has a Bluetooth receiver. 

- If using Bluetooth, make sure your PS4 controller is in pairing mode by pressing and holding the PlayStation button and Share button simultaneously until the light bar on the controller starts flashing.

- Once connected, Windows should automatically recognize your controller and install the necessary drivers.



Xbox One/Series Controller:

- Connect your Xbox controller to your PC using a USB cable or through Bluetooth if your computer has a Bluetooth receiver. 

- If using Bluetooth, on the Xbox Series X controller, press and hold the pairing button located at the top of the controller, next to the USB-C port. The Xbox button on the controller will start flashing, indicating that it's in pairing mode. 

- Windows should automatically recognize your controller and install the necessary drivers.


Xbox 360 Controller:

- Connect your Xbox controller to your PC using a USB cable or through the Xbox Wireless Adapter if your controller is a wireless Xbox controller. If using the adapter, make sure it's properly connected to your computer and your controller is synced to the adapter.

- Windows should automatically recognize your controller and install the necessary drivers.

- To play the game, run JLR Launcher.

- The launcher will automatically start the game without any additional steps.

- You can place the mod directory anywhere on your system that is convenient for you.

- You can create a shortcut to the JLR Launcher on your desktop or in the start menu for easy access.

- Not unzipping the mod. Ensure that you extract the mod files before launching the JLR Launcher.

- Unzipping the original game files. Installation will fail if the original files have been extracted or unzipped.

- Controller is not connected properly. Try testing the controller in another app. You controller should be able to navigate Windows.

Simply delete the mod folder. This will delete both the mod and original game files.
